Gite des Roses is a quintessential French house with pretty cornflower blue shutters and beautifully-scented white roses around the door. It is an ideal base to visit Puy du Fou, which is only 30 minutes north or the sandy beaches of the west coast that are just over an hour’s drive away.
Completely renovated in 2022, the house can be divided into two for families of 4 people or 8 people. When renting for four people there is a large king-size bedroom with dressing area and a twin room available. When renting for 8 people: there are 4 bedrooms including: a master suite with vaulted ceilings, large king-sized bed and dressing area, another generous king with dressing area, a twin bedroom, and a smaller double. The family bathroom is large and has both a full-size bath and walk-in shower.
The living room is large and cool, with a leather sofa, dining room table for 8 people and a wood burner for chillier days. If you rent the entire house, then there is also a games room with a huge corner sofa, pool table, dartboard and table football available.
The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with a breakfast bar, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a dishwasher. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, another sink and the downstairs toilet. This is a great space for any canine companions, we welcome 2 medium-large dogs or 3 small dogs at Gite des Roses.
There is off-street parking at the front of the house for two cars, together with a small patio area – the perfect place for an apero and to meet our friendly neighbours.
There is a fully-enclosed back garden with its very own boules court. For a small additional fee of €30 per dog per week, we welcome a maximum of two large-medium sized dogs or three smaller dogs for pet-friendly holidays.
Linen and towels are provided with your stay and are changed weekly.
There are books, puzzles, games and toys for all ages, as well as both French & British television and a Blu Ray player.
Smoking is only permitted outside the house in the garden. Please use the ashtray provided. There is an additional cleaning charge of €30/week for a family of 4 and €50/week if the entire house is rented.
